Phasebrato, synthesis effect developed by Roland Kuit in 2012. A waveform entering the A input on a MinMax module. The same waveform entering the B input of the MinMax module with a phase delay. The MinMax module's output A inverted and the output B non inverted are added in a mixer. Causing a double octave. Modulating the Phase Delay by a LFO module causes vibrating shifts between octaves. The MinMax module compares two input signals and outputs the highest levels on the Max output and the lowest levels on the Min output. Published in his book Laboratory of Patching. Sound example: phasebrato
