Hello!

I am a WASH & Global Health professional working in research, policy, and campaigning. I am currently a Policy Officer with WaterAid, a consultant for the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment & Health / UN_Water on the Sanitation Drive to 2015 & World Toilet Day Campaign's, and the vice chair of WASH working group for the Neglected Tropical Diseases NGDO Network.

At WaterAid I wear two hats: 1- working on WASH and health (i.e. integrating WASH messaging for child health/nutrition, patient safety in healthcare facilities, and eliminating Neglected Tropical Disease.

2 - leading the strategic development and implementation of WASHwatch.org - an online collaborative platform for monitoring government and donor commitments to WASH striving to improve sector transparenct, knowledge sharing, monitoring mechanisms, and ultimately accountability.

I have recently become interested in engaging with WASH topics on Wikipedia and will be making my initial contribution by in creating a page about World Toilet Day. Looking forward to collaborating with my fellow Wikipedians.
