Pearson R. Kennedy-Crosby, also known as Pearson Crosby, is a United States Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and veterans' advocate based in Alaska. Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pearson has dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving the veteran community and advocating for medical cannabis use.

Early Life and Education

Pearson R. Kennedy-Crosby was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the eldest of seven children. He graduated from Council Rock High School in 2004.

Military Service

Post high school, Pearson enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, being assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, Bravo Company following boot camp. During his deployment to Al Anbar Province, Iraq, Pearson rose to become a squad leader. Pearson completed his service with the rank of Staff Sergeant, having served two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004 to 2012.

Post-Military Career

After his military service, Pearson pursued further education, studying biology and civil engineering. Transitioning to civilian life, he worked globally as a security professional before moving to Fairbanks, Alaska, in 2015. There, he became a strong advocate for medical cannabis, founding a cannabis delivery company, Crosby Transportation. Pearson dedicating efforts to ending Alaskan veteran homelessness and suicide as an AVF Director.

Veterans' Advocacy

Pearson has been an active member of various veteran service organizations, holding leadership positions in the Marine Corps League, VFW: Golden Heart Post #2629, and the Alaska Veterans Foundation. His advocacy extends to the legal realm as well, where he served as a Veterans Court Mentor in Philadelphia and Bucks County from 2012 to 2017, assisting veterans navigating the judicial system. The significance of Veterans Courts in providing tailored support for veterans facing legal challenges is well-documented, as highlighted in a CBS News article. He also served as an instructor for the Philadelphia Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Training team from 2013 to 2018.
