Sacerdote granadino famoso por su gran estatura (poco menos de 3 metros de altura), y sobre todo por su hazaña, al conseguir liberar al pueblo granadino, oprimido por la raza canina, de uno de sus más peligrosos y sanguinarios perros. La gesta de Tronchapinos consistió en la emisión de un sonido muy grave y potente, el "Do de cerdo" (alrededor de los 65 Hz), que afectó tan agresivamente al órgano auditivo del cánido que terminó por causarle la muerte instantánea.
Tronchapinos es hoy por hoy una leyenda entre su gente, sacerdote ortodoxo, gran bajo dramático y liberador del pueblo granadino. Su escultura ecuestre puede visitarse de lunes a jueves en el patio de armas de la ('['Alhambra']','http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alhambra'), así como un museo de su persona en el barrio del Albaicín.
