The Delta Forward Support Company is a support company of the United States Army based at Fort Bliss, Texas. It provides logistical support to the 5th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. It's main supported units are the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, Fires Battalion, Special Troops Battalion, Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 5th Brigade, Future Force Integration Directorate, and the Brigade Support Battalion.

Activated on May 1st 2009, the unit is a logistical support company capable of a variety of actions. Though assigned as a Forward Support Company (FSC), the unit does not fall into a tradition role of a FSC supporting one specific maneuver battalion. Delta FSC supports a majority of the 5th Brigade Combat Team while Fox Forward Support Company only supports the 2nd Combined Arms Battalion.

Organization

The Delta FSC is composed of three platoons, a Headquarters Platoon, a Distribution Platoon, and a Maintenance Support Platoon.

History

The unit was constituted on 1 May 2009 at Fort Bliss, Texas, in the United States Army as the Delta Forward Support Company, Brigade Support Battalion, 5th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division.
