Hi! I'm a doctoral student studying Sociology. I started editing Wikipedia as a part of a course at Rice University and have continued to dabble in WikiGnome activities ever since. My main academic interests are gender and religion, though my main activities on Wikipedia are reading and tweaking articles on women's sports, celebrities, movies and television, and other phenomena related to pop culture.

I've contributed to the Gender inequality in Mexico and Human Rights in Mexico articles. Currently, I am working on creating and editing articles related to the Women's Basketball Project. I am also working on fixing various grammatical errors and I hope to contribute substantial content to another article at some point in the future.
