Overworld is an RPG which is early development for the pc. In japan is it going to be known as 惑星の冒険 (A planet adventure.) The engine what is been used is called the Voidx3.


Development

The development on this RPG started sometime last year put it was somewhat on a delay due problems with the engine. The core grpahics of the engine kept on having alot of glitches. Orginally Overworld was orginally going to be a 3D platformer simlar to the style of Ratchet and Clank and Metroid combined to together but do to engine problems the game was cancelled and was renamed from Dasher a new world to Overworld. The team creating this game is only one person but on youtube there is an announcement trailer to get a team working creating a better version of the Voidx3. Orginally the story was going to be a medievil RPG but the creator decided to make it a modern day RPG but excluding guns.


Story

A young seventeen year old lad named Cedric Thorn who is looking for his Uncle due to one day as a child some goverment agents came round and took him away and never returned. Now that Cedric is older he is on a quest to find information aswell finding his uncle. Along the way Cedric discovers the only way to save his uncle is to find the secret base within the dephs of the earth.
