I am OldMan3. I am able to contribute to Wikipedia with a native, professional level of English and can also speak Spanish, Portuguese, Hawaiian, French and Estonian fluently. I was born on March 23, 1914 in Avalon, New Jersey (a part that is now Stone Harbor) and still live there (the locals refer to me as an Avalon Old-Timer).

I like several domestic and non-domestic animal. I used to have a parrot, dog, goldfish, rabbit and a pair of mice. I currently have only one cat (I'm 97, give me a break). If my aged allowed me I would love to get another German Shepherd. My favorite exotic animal (and just in general) is the Indian elephant that I hope will be saved one day no matter how long after I'm gone.

As for I aviation, I can technically fly a plane because I was in the navy in the World War II flying a fighter plane but again age gets in the way. I have been on a hot air balloon, but know other type of aviation device and I certainly have never gone skydiving and I certainly never will go skydiving.

I have been driving for 84 years. Actually, I don't drive all that much anymore. My first car was my father's old Maserati, one of the first Maseratis to come to America. After that, I got a 1950 Cadillac that I handed to down to my son who still keeps and preserves it in his garage. Now I have a Ford Expedition, that I rarely drive. I'll use public transportation when pigs can fly.

My favorite color is navy blue.

I have a professorial level of comedy ( I should've become a comedian, my father said). I enjoy improvisational as well as stand-up comedy. My favorite past comedians were Charlie Chaplin, The Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges and Abbot an Costello. My favorite present comedians are Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Cosby, and Ellen Degeneres.

Unlike most senior citizens who cannot seem to figure out how to work computers, I am good with computers and I go on Wikipedia everyday. I have a Facebook and Twitter. I am trying to set up my own blog website because I have a lot of interesting stories to share about Avalon and Stone Harbor from way back when. My son got me an iPhone last Christmas which I have mastered in the past year.

My favorite drinks are hot chocolate, orange juice, milk, water, coffee, sweet tea, iced tea, A&W Root Beer, cream soda, Fanta Orange and Grape, Snapple, and Stewart's Cream Soda (funny thing is I remember, when Stewarts first went into business). I do not believe in consuming alcoholic beverages. I am a self proclaimed carnivore and sugarvore. He enjoys Chinese, Japanese, Kosher, Spanish, Estonian and Polynesian. I know I eat to much but I'm getting all the foods I enjoy in before I die. I enjoy pepperoni pizza (made in Jersey, of course), hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chili, sauerkraut, Maryland-style crab, cheestesteaks (I prefer Geno's to Pat's), eggs, borscht, fries, chips, popcorn, quesadillas, spaghetti, I prefer marmalade over jam, jalapenos, chocolate, watermelon, cherries, berries, grapes, peaches, apples, bread, cereals, fish and candy.

As for games, I enjoy, soduko, crosswords, the lottery, and the Rubik's cube. The board games I enjoy are: Axis and Allies, backgammon, checkers, chess, Diplomacy (he likes plaiying France), Jenga, Mahjong, Monopoly, Battleship, Chinese checkers, Scrabble, and Parcheesi. The card games I enjoy are: blackjack, Free Cell, poker, Uno, bridge, and Canasta. As a result of my iPhone I have become addicted to Angry Birds and have a rivalry with my great grandkids over the game.

I am a huge history buff and a member of my local historical society. He interested in Ancient Europe, New France, Canada, the United States, New Jersey, Avalon and Stone Harbor, East Timor, and Malta. Inside US history, American Revolution, Texas Revolution, Civil War, and Presidents.

I am good at math though I prefer to stay away from it, especially algebra and geometry. I know both the standard and metric system though I prefer to use the standard system (just because that is what I grew up with. If I tried to memorize all the digits of pi, I would probably have a pass out after 3.14.

I used to sing, now I only sing in the church. I was in my high school Glee Club, where I sang the lowest bass you'd ever heard. I used the play the banjo, drums, bass, piano, violin, and ukulele. I like 1950s rock and unlike many elderly people, I enjoy modern-day pop.

I am intrigued by philosophy and have many philosophies of my own. I am a creationist, minimalist, optimist and I believe Thomas Jefferson's idea that all men are created equal. I reject Darwinism and Ayn Rand's objectivism.

I enjoy botany and my wife use to keep several gardens: flower gardens, vegetable gardens and was even considering building a Japanese-style garden but past away before this was possible. I did the botany an she did the gardening.

I enjoy science. My particular interests in it are biology, chemistry, botany, medical sciences, meteorology, and technology.

When I was younger I participated in many sports. I like ping pong, boxing, dancing, rowing, fencing, shooting, archery, basketball, bowling, baseball, football, golf, swimming, billiards, running and car racing. I like watching all these sports. I am a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers.

I enjoy reading fiction, mysteries, thrillers, science fiction, and alternate history. My favorite book by far is the Bible. I also enjoy Uncle Tom's Cabin, The Jungle, A Christmas Carol and many others that would be to long of a list to fit on one userpage (not could I ever remember all the books I have read in my lifetime and liked).

My favorite two old-time actor/actress are Audrey Hepburn and Marlon Brando. I like some modern-day actors and actresses but all equally, so I couldn't decide. My favorite director is Spielberg. I enjoy black and white, silent, documentaries, action, comedy, drama and old-fashioned horror films. My favorite old films are Ocean's Eleven and The Godfather and my favorite modern-day movie is Grownups.

My favorite news show are the O'Reilly Factor, and Fox and Friends. Despite my age, my favorite show is Glee and I'm a self-proclaimed Gleek
