Markus Markova (born February 12, 1958), is a Czech-Canadian magazine publisher, property owner and lawyer. He is the CEO and President of Chatsworth Properties along with Richard Nickel and Josh Savelli. Markus has made numerous contributions to major charities and is actively involved in Free the Children. He also has been invited to select UN conferences. He is listed as the 61st richest person in Canada. Markus Markova was born in the Czech Republic but moved to California, United States in his early 20's to peruse a professional career. There, he met his future wife, widow Diana Stellano. Diana was Canadian-born and after marrying on Febuary 21, 1993 they relocated to Toronto, Canada. Diana had three children from her previous marriage, Heidi, Daniel and Marco; all of whom Markus adopted soon after they were married. The couple welcomed their first and only child together, Kiera, on June 3rd 1994. The couple also has an adopted daughter named Kayla. Markus started his own architectural company in summer of 1998. This company proved very successful, especially in California. In July of 2007, Markus merged his company with fellow toronto business men, Josh Savelli and Richard Nickel; thus, creating Chatsworth Properties. The Markova family currently resides in the Forest Hill area of Toronto, Canada. In May 2009, they temporarily relocated to Brighton, England for a business venture. Markus enjoys close friendships with business leaders Josh Savelli, Richard Nickel and Lawrence Tanenbaum.
