Hello! This is Nil Novi profile page. I've made this account to fix a small typo and add some information to an article.

About my interests[edit | edit source]

My interests and competences are around these:

  • electronic music technology (CV and MIDI, all kinds of synthesizers and drum-machines, modular synthesizers (eurorack), different kinds of synthesis and other things related to modern music production)
  • rock music technology (guitars, guitar effects, guitar amps and drums - all aspects of playing live and recording at the studio - from microphone placement - to editing waveforms)
  • sound design (creating sounds, textures, accents and beats, how it works together^ what should be done in the mix)
  • DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations): Steinberg Nuendo, Apple LogicX, Avid ProTools
  • Sound engineering: microphones, headphones, rack equipment, acoustic, installation, cabling, brands and technics
  • Music recording, editing and mixing
  • Audio post-production (field, ADR, foley: recording, editing, processing and mixing)
  • I learn Swift, so I'm pretty interested in it as well.
