Nicholas "Nick/Trigger" Calvert (born 13 April 1982) is a English footballer and cricketer for New Rover Cricket and Football Club, based out of Adel, Leeds.

In 2002 after a 5 year gap from playing cricket for North Leeds Cricket Club as a junior, Nick joined New Rover Cricket Club at the age of 20 and began his come back and interest in the sport playing mid-week cricket in the Harrogate & District Evening League on Wednesday's and Whixley & District Evening League on Thursday's.
It was an enjoyable comeback with a couple of high points, namely taking a hat-trick versus Whixley Cricket Club on 18th July 2002 in the Whixley & District Evening League. Also contributing to New Rover CC in achieving the Harrogate & District Evening League Division 5 title and 4th year of successful promotion.
