He attended [3] Franklin Elementary School, [4] Clark Junior High School, and graduated from [5] Vincennes Lincoln High School in 1992.
He graduated from the [6] University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education in 1997. In 2005, he graduated with a Masters in Educational Administration from Capella University.
He is married to his best friend and soul mate, [7] April, who is a native of Nashville and is a 3rd grade teacher at [8] W.A. Wright Elementary in Mt. Juliet. They currently reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
He is currently the assistant principal at [9] West Elementary School (Mt. Juliet, Tennessee) in Mt. Juliet. Prior to school administration, he taught social studies for six years at http://www.wcschools.com/mjm Mt. Juliet Middle School.
He is a [10]fully certified teacher of social studies and school administrator in the state of Tennessee. He is also "Highly Qualified" to teach social studies in K-12 grades under the No Child Left Behind Act.

His hobbies include providing consulting services for educational technology to educators and writing articles on educational issues.
