Rocky Grams was born in Amsterdam in the early hours of 15 August 1941. He received his early education at a local boys school. His father had a flourishing shoe business. He always knew he would not live the same life as his dad did. At the start of his music career, he dropped his Regular name and was mentioned in music credits only as "MR Grams," by which name he attained stardom. Mr Grams has already left a decent life behind him. From the 90’s on, his life started. Electronic music emerged. More and more big DJs were born. Grams has started as a dj especially at small parties.

In 1980 the 39-year-old Rocky (also credited as "MR Grams") played his first gig in a small club called Levels in London. When he started he was the spin master of the disco but now in 2019 he started combining disco and EDM! A great sound, great experience and MR. GRAMS turns it into a crazy show with his (old) moves. On his 75th birthday, MR. GRAMS started to feel old and wanted to do something special for you youngsters.

From the 80’s to 90’s, MR Grams played in Lots of European countries. After that his gigs started to get more popular and he became the first dj’s on tour in Europe. With his bags full of vinyl he had a hard life. It was not the same as it is nowadays with a USB. At this moment MR. GRAMS is too old to produce his own music and he is working together with some “awesome” guys (his words!) In 2020 MR. GRAMS is going to blow you away with his first world wide tour.

During the 80's MR. GRAMS was well known as the disco dj. During the 90's MR. GRAMS started to travel trough Europe.

August 1995 MR. GRAMS finished his latest gig as disco DJ.

UPDATE:

At this moment MR. GRAMS is too old to produce his own music and he is working together with some “awesome” guys (his words!) In 2020 MR. GRAMS is going to blow you away with his first world wide tour.
