Semi-retired
I'll still make a few edits and create a new article or two, but I am just tired of Wikipedia's Euro-American bias and the lack of good Japanese-capable editors. Wikipedia is still not very diverse.
This user is no longer very active on Wikipedia.
Student and scholar of Japanese cinema, literature, and popular culture. I don't have time to contribute much to Wikipedia, but I try to fill in glaring holes by creating new pages and correcting errors when I can. Unfortunately there are a lot of problems with Japanese film-related pages on Wikipedia. I also work on Japanese cycling pages and patrol new Japan-related articles.
Some Articles I Started
Here are some articles I have started on Wikipedia. Most are still rather short - or even just stubs - but they at least help fill some gaping holes. Someday, when I have more time, I may expand them, but I do encourage any of you with the skill and knowledge to expand them yourself.
Your rewrite on Kaoru Nakamaru was very good! I requested that the nomination for deletion be closed because the rewrite (and page move) was exceptional and helped set a possibility for the Japanese Wiki to have an article on the subject. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 17:45, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
The Original Barnstar

Japanese film
Thank you, "student and scholar of Japanese cinema, literature, and popular culture", for quality articles such as Noriaki Tsuchimoto (in several languages), for adding references and patrolling new pages, for greeting and warning new users, for tireless moves and project tags, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!
