Michelle Humble is a fictional character in the teen comedy, Humble Sisters. She has appeared from 2005 and is portrayed by Eliza Jobs.

Michelle was created by Martin Smith, who thought up the idea of two twins who are totally different in personality. He later decided to make them fraternal twins, named Samantha "Sam" and Michelle. Sam would be popular and bigheaded, and Michelle would be geeky and too confident in her knowledge. To add irony, he gave the girls the last name "Humble", as they are anything but.

Emily Jacobs was originally cast as Michelle Humble, but after being diagnosed with cancer, was taken over by FANTASIZE star Eliza Jobs. Collectively, out of the two lots of auditions held to find Michelle, 2,250 people auditioned.

Michelle is one of the main characters, the other being her twin Sam. She and Sam do not always see eye to eye, although they both wish for their divorced parents to reconcile.

Michelle is known for her geeky personality, and is known to be a perfectionist, however just recently her pickiness has calmed down slightly. She is kind yet insistent, and sometimes shown to be either nervous or too confident in her knowledge; never in between.

Michelle's parents, Lucy and Bert, divorced when she was six, as revealed in a flashback episode. She currently lives with her mom, sister Sam and adopted brother Ryan and half-sister Annabel.

She spends every weekend with her dad, Bert, who is remarried to a yoga-loving hippy, Gloria. She has twins too - Pricilla and Penelope, who are mean to Sam and Michelle. She and Bert have a daughter together too, Polly.

Ryan is mischevious and causes trouble for the girls. Annabel and Polly are babies, so have no effect on the twins. Pricilla is the meanest, often trying to steal Lewis from Sam. Penelope is shown to be much nicer without Pricilla, who dominates her life.

The girls' mother also has an on-off boyfriend, Paulo.

Michelle's love life has been unsuccessful so far. She had a boyfriend in Series One, Drake, but their relationship ended. She has also dated the headmaster's son, Rick, and in the 2008 musical Humble Sisters Musical she had a brief relationship with Lewis Newman. Since 2007, she has been in a relationship with Bradley Charlesworth, however, the actor who plays him is leaving the show in 2010; Michelle and Bradley's relationship will end.

In Series One, Michelle's storylines revolved around her first real boyfriend, Drake, and her relationship with her sister, Sam. Sam and Michelle struggled to see eye to eye on things, until one day, Lucy told the girls they would have to clean the loft out. While cleaning the loft out, they found a heavily sealed box labelled 'TO BE BURNED'. Curious, they opened it and found their mother's wedding dress, along with wedding photos and other photo albums, plus their mother's wedding ring. This saddened them both, and they decided to keep that box there, agreeing to keep their discovery secret from their mother.

Michelle and Drake broke up, and Michelle briefly dated her headmaster's son, Rick. She showed a huge interest in him, however he seemed to only talk about sports and his ex-girlfriends. Michelle felt threatened when Lucy wanted Sam to chaperone their date, but thankfully Sam ended up falling for Rick's brother, Chris. While on a double date, Chris and Michelle realised their attraction to eachother, as did Sam and Rick. However, a relationship between Chris and Michelle has never been shown.

Michelle and her friends Chelsea and Indiana were forced to show new girl Jade around. Unfortunately for them, fashionable yet goofy Jade decided she wanted them as her friends.

Michelle stood up for dark-skinned girl Sarah after her sister began bullying her because of her skin colour. However, Sarah misinterprated Michelle's kindness.

Michelle made friends with French girl Tiffany in Series 4. In Series 6, she is due to befriend new girl Arielle as well.

In Series 3, she fell for Bradley Charlesworth, a contestant on the local spelling bee. She was thrilled when he moved to her school. They made friends, and later ended up dating. In 2008 they broke up briefly after Pricilla lied and told Bradley that Michelle was cheating on him with Lewis, and Lewis that Sam was cheating on him with Bradley, and Michelle that Bradley was cheating on her with Sam, and Sam that Lewis was cheating on her with Bradley. Heartbroken, Michelle and Lewis made friends, and ended up kissing. They confessed their love to eachother, but later decided it would be best to remain friends. Michelle and Bradley reconciled in 2008, as did Sam and Lewis.
