User:Manifestival
Manifestival is the pseudonym of Bill Riley (William James Riley) and the name given to the collected recordings of Bill Riley from 1999 to the present day. Manifestival's first album, Seven Sisters of Sleep was a collection of tunes recorded between 2001-2002 in Southern New Jersey. The name of the album is a reference to the author Mordecai Cooke, who wrote a book by the same title in 1860. Seven Sisters of Sleep made psychedelic and other drug-induced states accessible to an audience that was developing interest in exploring them.
