SISWAN DAM

It is a earthen dam, built by Punjab government in 1998 near the village Siswan, tehsil Kharar district SAS, Punjab.

LOCATION

Siswan village is located near Shivalik foothills, on the Kurali- baddi(H.P.) highway.

STRUCTURE

Dam is 435 meter long and 24 meter high.

BENEFITS

It protects the low area from flooding in raining season and also used for irrigation purposes.
