Luke Merry(born October 21, 1993) is from special Hearing impaired who beacame deaf in 1997. Merry had a cochlea Implant by having operation By Professor Ramsdem. File:Me having a Cochlea in 1997

I was 3 years old a boy and I had been X-ray in a hospital in Manchester, UK and i have been having operation by Professor Ramsdem and his partners and been operating me putting magent into my skull near my ear and put wire from magent into my ear canal and later when i was better, I then started having a cochlea Implant which my mum (Sharon Merry) and Dad (Trevor Merry) had an interview with some people who know about cochlea implant and had me been tested to see my grade of good listening that I have and the skills. When I was completed, I went back home. My mum and dad had been booking me into school in sheffield was a special one tht has support helps me from H.I.D. I've been having study support a lady teaching me off stuff so i can hear her very good and talling me some words that i must repeat to show how good i can hear which was very good.

When i was 6 i started moving to primary school called bramley Grange school, Rotherham, Bawtry Road, UK. I also had some time of interviewing around in school looking around. It had a H.I.D which stands for to be Hearing Impaired Department. So when i started going to Bramley Grange I also had a support helps me doing work in lesson were support for H.I.D called Mrs.Lomas, Mrs.pearson and the head of H.I.D was Miss.Hamilton. When I first went to H.I.D room, Miss.Hamilton gave me the radio aid whci is for coachlea Implant to help me hear clear when im far away from the teachers in class which they are to wear that transmitter and they into it and then it goes into my Radio Aid and then into my cochlea so it can help me hear loud and clear. And soon i met a boy called Richard Robinwhite who was deaf same as me and we also go to H.I.D. So we keep on playing and we were best freinds like a brothers and we also had good time at primary. So then soon we also had a new girl called Bryony tanner which she had is a haering aid and we made a good freinds to her and soon she had an operation and had cochlea implant same as me and richard. So soon Richard and Bryony came to my house for my birthday and we had a really really good time and went out for dinner. Then soon later Richard left to move out and another boy called Dean Ridley came in and he had hearing Aid so he didnt have cochlea Implant in future. So then Dean and richard and me we also went to bryonys party in sheffield City. Soon years I was 12 I left Bramley Grange.
