Logan- Samir Newkirk is part time DJ and amutuer meteorologist who participated in the meteorologist program in Penn State Weather Camp from June 16-21, 2013. He also serve as an back-up part time DJ with his uncle DJBonics on Wired 96.5, located in Philadelphia, on the Saturday nights from 8pm-12:00am. DJBonics and O.G. Log (Newkirk's DJ Name) will be on air on July 6, 2013 before he goes on a three week program to DC. Currently he will attend Howard University's Weather Camp, located in DC, from July 7-19, 2013. Unlike Penn State Weater Camp, HWU Weather camp is an fully two week program where students live on campus. PSU Weather Camp is one week. When Logan grows up, he hopes become the manager of SEPTA (Southeastern Pennslyvania Transportation Authority) which deals with transportation for the city of Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
