Museiken is a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band from England. Theyre Influences include Trivium, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Alter Bridge. Formed in late 2008, it started off as co-founders Tom Griffin and Matty Jones. After writing music for half a year, in mid 2009, they got bassist Will Johnnson and drummer Zakk Hannemann. The band started to get together some songs which later appeared on the bands first album, self-titled. At 14, the band started to play local shows at clubs and bars. They finally got a breakthrough in 2011, where Asket records signed them. They released a few demos under Asket but then got spotted by Spinefarm records, a major label in rock industry. They would release their first 2 albums, the 2nd being named Dawn Of Aggression, before signing Roadrunner Records.

Museiken are known in such genres as Heavy metal, Thrash metal, Post-grunge, Stoner rock and Sludge rock. Themselves only think theyre hard rock or heavy metal. "On the first album, its very much metal and thrash, but over the years, weve started to broaden on what we play as musicians. On our second album, theres alot of stoner and grunge. We like all the genres were classed into but I feel were only heavy rock or metal" Thomas Griffin, Lead Guitar and Vocals.
