Valentine, Born April 8, 1971 in Las Vegas Nevada; attended Bonanza High; wrestled competitively at 105 and 119 pounds securing wins at numerous competitions; graduated in 1989. 1992 Reno Classic Open Division State Champion; 118 pounds; decision over Tim Fleming; defeated 1993 by Jessie Frank.
Attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas competing in the schools club wrestling program 1993; 1994; 1995; and 1996. The programs goal was to reinvigorate interest in the schools previous wrestling program that ended in the early 80’s; it was unsuccessful. UNLV Invitational Champion 1994; 1996. Defeated by Ken Swift in 1995. Campus organizations Pre-Medical Club and Student Chemical Society President; Graduated in 1998 with a degree in Molecular Biology and Organic Chemistry.
