Wally Humphrey

Wally Humphrey was a landscape painter whose style was impressionistic. He was a well-known local artist who loved the natural beauty surrounding Terrace, British Columbia, Canada.

Wally had many friends in Terrace, such as, Randy Penner, Don Wier, Candace Weller, Jean Merryweather, Juanita ?, and Jake Muller. There were and are many more who remember him fondly.

Wally was always willing to share his knowledge of painting with others. Many of his friends would atest to that.

In 1995, Jake Muller organized a retrospective exhibit of his work at the Terrace Art Gallery. Wally had sold so many of his paintings over the years that it was quite a challenge to bring a collection of his works together.

He died in Terrace August 31, 2001.
