Born in Gainesville, FL. 1957. Graduated 2 years early from high school, in 1974, and went straight into college on full scholarship at University of Wisconsin - Madison and receiving undergraduate degrees in Geology, Cultural Anthropology, and Dark Age/Medieval Studies 1979. After a 2 year break she returned to Gainesville to attend graduate school receiving MS's in Geology, Anthropology, Medieval European History from the University of Florida in 1983. She worked on various projects and programs, mostly as a lighting designer touring most summers with several different groups, she was also a grant writer, both prior to continuing her education and during her doctoral studies, including for, bat conservation, Indigenous Environmental Network on rights and issues, environmental projects, the USGS, and the reintroduction of Wolves to Yellowstone. After marriage and the birth of her 2nd child, a son, she entered the doctoral program at the University of Washington in Geomorphology specializing in Volcanology. Receiving her PhD in Geomorphology in 1999, she went on to join the US NAVY. After she retired from the military as a disabled veteran, she and her husband choose to remain in Oak Harbor, WA where she settled into working on, and receiving her 2nd PhD, in the study of Psychopathy and Microexpressions, writing her poetry, running her non-profitorganization, and enjoying the stunning wilderness that surrounds her as she continues her work in Volcanology. Currently she's writing a book on 'The High Cost Society Pays Dealing With The High Level Psychopaths Who Are Rich and/or Famous', due out in November 2023. Still does some stage/concert lighting, and grant writing.
