Truly a tree is known by it fruits and a well is known by its water, so is LM Fidem known by his deeds and works! Music is only one of the means by which he expresses himself and delivers the message of truth, "pure truth".
LM Fidem was born on the wonderful island of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin in 1981! Raised in a family of 7, music became a big part of his life in the early 1990's! As a young child the calling was strong on his life, but all was made clearer to him when he met the One who gives the calling and the purpose in life; God who give the Son Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit! LM Fidem is known as a firm believer in Christ and he is spreading the message of the gospel to the world through the powerful style of music that he does; reggae/dancehall!
“My style and the way I use my words are all based on where I grew up and who I choose to be! The best person that I can be is I and that’s why I choose to keep the originality in what I do! As the bible says”many are called but few are chosen” and I know that the Lord has chosen me to deliver His word to His people in this form!
Yes, it is true that music is good for the body in its three forms (Flesh, Spirit & Soul) but we must not neglect the message behind the music. When an unrighteous message is accepted through music, it corrupts your soul, steal away that very breath of life that God has placed in you and destroys your spirit! When writing a song, I choose not to only express the knowledge, the understanding or the wisdom that God has given unto me, but I also choose to share with the audience my experiences in life (things I have been through, what I am going through and also certain thing that I will be going through!)
The purpose for this is to let the people know that they are not alone in their struggles and that the Lord sees, hears and is willing to help them! You see, I know life is hard and that the righteous road is a narrow road, but I will always encourage the people to remember that all things are possible with God!”
LM Fidem has come to the knowledge of the power of words spoken, for as the bible says in the Book of Proverbs chapter 18 chapter 21: ”Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” He is therefore encouraging those who do not know the Father (God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob to get to know Him before it is to late and to those who know Him, to keep on seeking Him and always believing Him.
