Marc Ward Marc Ward[1] (born 20 August 1973) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League as Defender for Leyton Orient.[2][3] He played for 4 years under frank clark, Peter ustace,Geoff Pike.

Ward was born in Tower Hamlets, London,[3] and was associated with Leyton Orient from the age of 14[4] As a young professional he spent 4 years coming through the youth ranks.

He played 15 league games for Orient, 11 of which were as a substitute, scoring only once before being released after a hamsting injury in 1992.Released from Leyton Orient, He joined Barking fc under steve shorey and Henery Houghton playing 28 games before the injury returned. Obtaining Level 1 in 1993 Coaching certificate he then started coaching Glenthorne United.
