Born on May 28Th, 1986 a young boy named Kareem Harris was born in Harvey Illinois, with a rich musical background. My passion for music began when he would sit on the basement stairs past his bedtime listening to the music his parents played at their parties. His career first took off at the age of 9yrs old , joining the band at Whittier Elementary,his grade school. Harris first mentor was my instructor John P. Webber. He taught him how to understand and respect his God giving talent. He also showed him how to stand out as a talented young black musician. His second musical path lead him to high school where he meet his next mentor, Phillip Crews. Mr. Crews brought music to life for him. He made him mindful of the many different genre's. This experience helped him become a well known trumpet and brass player in the state of Illinois. After high school Kareem moved in a new musical direction, production. Forming the record label I.M.G. Music Group Entertainment with 2 other members, Marcell "Scoot The Genius" who made growing up in Harvey a new dawn in hometown history. Also Andre Laster Jr. aka Prince Ace, who is scheduled to release his first album "Royalty" this summer.
