'Kat Taylor' (born C.A. Fowlkes; January 1, 1975) is an American media personality, overnight radio host of the Melodic Whispers on WEIB 106.3 SMOOTH FM, TV Anchor, and Voice Over Actress.

A Gregarious personality with the gift of gab, Kat Taylor is a vibrant, rising voice over actress, radio host and founder of Kat Taylor Media Productions, LLC (KTMP). From neighborhood crime fighter to the life of the party her gift is shared on the airwaves through the smooth sensual voice that captures and hypnotizes her listeners. Kat currently hosts the Melodic Whispers late night radio show on New England’s only independent radio station WEIB 106.3 Smooth FM from 12:00-6:00am.

Prior to finding her calling in radio broadcasting and voice over work, Kat enjoyed a twenty-something year career as a Police Officer Metropolitan Police Department, Washington, DC. How does a police officer become a radio personality, you ask? At a party of course! Shortly after relocating to Springfield, Massachusetts from Washington, D.C., Kat was introduced to media trailblazer Carol Moore-Cutting, Founder, President and CEO of WEIB Smooth FM. She was offered an amazing opportunity to provide entertainment news during the station’s prime time radio show, The Morning Blend. Kat’s wit, quirkiness and fun personality caught the attention of the station landing her a co-hosting spot on The Morning Blend alongside Tauryn Morae and eventually the solo spot on Melodic Whispers, which she has been hosting for the past several years. Kat has garnered a dedicated fan base and an impressive Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, and Facebook following. The rest as they say is history!

When not on the air, You can catch Kat delivering Worcester Community News on WCCA TV 13 or in her professional studio creating copy and providing voice over services for corporate presentation, narrations, traditional broadcast outlets; as well as today’s new media including: audiobooks, video games and more! Her work has been featured on The American Red Cross Association, Henderson Eye Care Center and Mattoon Street Art & Craft Festivals advertisements, as well as other promotions. Her delivery style has been described as hip, intelligent, sensual, calm and easy-going. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for different causes including but not limited to the Mattoon Street Historic District, National Black Master of Business Association, Habitat for Humanity and other associations throughout her community.
