Inventions

Leonardo claimed to be able to create all sorts of machines both for the protection of a city and a siege. Even though he had very practical inventions, he also had unpractical ones too. Most of his life, he loved flight. Many of his inventions came from the idea of birds. Some of his inventions include the flapping ornithopter and a machine with a helical rotor. Some of his designs were used and tested and we now use them today such as a parachute, and a giant crossbow. [3]
