Thankful to have survived the allure of the streets, KD chooses to use his voice to promote consciousness and inspiration instead of exploiting the struggle that has made him the man he is. However, he will go there if taken there in an emcee battle which earned him the "Assassin" title by his peers for what he did to his opponents!

His flow is poetic yet still obnoxiously hard and in your face as he explores a range of realities with his brand of Street Hop. KD(Koup De Ville by his grandfather), is a poet, conscious, a rebel, a writer, and is a true fan and student of Hip Hop as well as a leader and trendsetter. He is 1/5th of the group the O.E.S.C. which features Nina Raw Venus, Lo Lansky, MC923, and Instrumental. Whether solo or collabo, KD has consistently had a song in rotation since fall 2009 on Deep Krate Radio w/DJ Fly DX, one of St. Louis's only true underground Hip Hop mix shows on KDHX 88.1. KD has received the KDHX Artist Spotlight for the Month of January 2011.

Locally he's collaborated with the likes of Prince Ea, Spark1duh?, Black Spade, D Mac, Legend Camp, Ras Tree, Karly Roots, Jia Davis, Luqman, Family Affair, Nite Owl and a host of others. He is inspired by his city and the likes of Jay-Z, Scarface, 2-Pac, The LOX, and DMX and was recently featured on the mid west leg of the Black Cloud Tour starring Cappadonna of Wu-Tang Clan, King Magnetic, and Block McCloud(AOTP) in the Spring of 2012! The future is looking bright for this young rising star!!!
