Justin Purtill (born February 19, 1980) is an American musician from Cary, Illinois.

As a bassist, Purtill has performed with Stu Allen, Gary Burton, Hal Crook, David Fiuczynski, Brahim Frigbane, George Garzone, Leo Genovese, Joe Hunt, Steve Kimock, Eric Kloss, John Lockwood, The Mast, Francisco Mela, Rakalam Bob Moses, Nat Mugavero, Tisziji Munoz, Tiger Okoshi, Kelli Scarr, Kendrick Scott, Melvin Seals, John Shannon (musician), Esperanza Spalding, and Paul Wertico.

He toured the United States, Japan, and Thailand as a member of the Tiger Okoshi Quartet (2000-2010) and toured extensively with Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band (2008-2009).

As a guitarist/composer, Purtill has released five CD's of original music, toured throughout Europe as a member of the RAW duo with Samuel Duhsler (2016-present) and toured Argentina with Leo Genovese's Nomades (2016-present).
