Justin Johnson (born May 23, 1982) is an American filmmaker [1] and blogger from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. CareerHe is best known for co-founding Indy Mogul, an Internet-based video webcast geared towards independent film-makers, and for directing Double Digits: The Story of a Neighborhood Movie Star

Career

In 2007 he was the head of the promos department at the cutting edge web content company Next New Networks.[2] Justin eventually landed a job at YouTube and was sent around Europe shooting short documentaries about notable YouTubers.[3]

Double Digits: The Story of a Neighborhood Movie Star

In October of 2015, Justin's film, "Double Digits: The Story of a Neighborhood Movie Star", was named one of the ten best films of the Tall Grass Film Festival.[4] “Double Digits” takes audiences into the world of 52-year-old filmmaker Richard “R.G.” Miller. He has been creating action and superhero-type films since childhood while handling all camera duties and directing his cast of dolls and action figures.[5] Working with Johnson on “Double Digits” re-inspired Miller to collaborate with other people again, including cameos he’ll now sometimes write for friends and coworkers.[6]
