Original layout (2003) included safety rules, guidelines, and statistical data on chances of poisoning. Major removal of "rules" section occurred on 24 October 2008 & it stuck. Major organizational changes done by Zara1709 (adding sections: Identifying mushrooms, Regional importance) also stuck. Many minor/bot edits. Was blanked once.
Not much change in lead since creation in 2014. Minor changes in content from 2014-2015, seems stalled in only minor edits/bots now. Not much discussion on talk page. Needs lots of work, particularly in the lead, content box, and generally all throughout since the article is so new.
Started out as a one-sentence stub in 2003. First few contributions had tone of an essay instead of an encyclopedic article. Bloats into a large essay. Ordering and titles of sections and subject matter is confusing. Focus of Criticism section is also confusing in most recent edition, piecemeal references to infotainment from 10 February 2009 (by Dpanzar) are not sufficient content and needs to either be moved or removed, fixed to be a more general overview of subject like it was in 2006-2007.
