JetCoders is an open source project I am working on that will be an open source community with various PHP and MySQL scripts/software that others or myself have made, and then others can download the source code, edit it or fix bugs in it, upgrade it, add to it, make it do more, etc, for the overall better of the community. It'll take me a little while to build, but I already have a domain name and web hosting set up for it, so now I just need to make the site.

This Wikipedia page is where I will post any updates about the JetCoders project, so, if you have the slightest lick of interest in the program, then stay tuned to this page.

JetCoders Updates

22 April 2007: Looking at a new PHP & MySQL book at Books-A-Million, to help make the site function better using newer PHP commands in PHP version 5. I'm more familiar with PHP 4.

15 April 2007: The web site has the design up, but not all links are working yet. I am still scripting the pages (in PHP and MySQL) and the forums will be made manually in PHP and MySQL, instead of using other software. Progress on Site: 5%

12 April 2007: Made the Wikipedia page about JetCoders Updates. Not planning to make an actual Wikipedia article/entry about it yet, not until it gets rolling considerably, and not until I check with moderators to make sure it's not spamming.

10 April 2007: Almost finished a few other projects I am working on so I can actually get started on the JetCoders site.

10 Feb 2007: Purchased domain name and web hosting for the site, but the project may take a few months before I can get to it to do anything. According to the JC domain name WHOIS entry, the JetCoders.com domain name does not expire until Feb. 10, 2007.

7 Feb 2007: Conceived the idea for JetCoders. Yay!
