Hi there! I'm a Finnish guy, living in Helsinki, whose interests include music, literature, travelling, some aspects of computing, open source software, and many other things. I work as a software developer, and hold a B.Sc. degree in computer science from the Helsinki University.

I found out about Wikipedia in late 2002, and registered an account in May 2003. Since then I've divided my time between the Finnish, English and Spanish language Wikipedias. In fact, I developed a semi-serious addiction lasting through 2004 to early 2006. In recent years I've fortunately recovered to a more sustainable level of Wikipedia use.[1]

I've uploaded quite a few photos to Wikipedia and, more recently, to Wikimedia Commons.

Using this neat tool I found out that the following seem to be the most popular of my photos. Each is used on about 20–35 pages in dozens of Wikipedias or other Wikimedia-hosted projects. These are all from Helsinki.
