Jerry Wennstrom] is an artist, author of The Inspired Heart: An Artist's Journey of Transformation and subject of Parabola and Sentient Publications documentary videos, "In the Hands of Alchemy” and Studio Dialogue a documentary film by Phil Lucas and Mark Sadan. He is most known for destroying his large body of art, giving away all of his possessions and money and living this way for 15 years. He has since produced a large new body of artworks which consist of large interactive sculptures. His life story is currently being made into a feature length film by Danish film director Hans Fabian Wullenweber. The tower that he built on his Whidbey Island, Washington property and his life's story is featured in the book, Holy Personal by Laura Chester. Jerry has been a regular guest lecturer at Pacifica Graduate Institute. He travels internationally offering workshops, lectures and film presentations.
Jerry has presented at the Birmingham Art Museum, the Seattle Art Museum, Kauai Museum, the Experience Music Project, Glen Arbor Art Association, UCS-NAROPA, the Vancouver Public Library, Western_New_Mexico_University, [Institute of the Arts] and [York University]. He has done over 60 media interviews and art features.
