MUTSHIDZI NDOU well known as Jalicot Jalicot is a South Africa music producer

Mutshidzi Arnold Ndou was born on the 13th May 1993 in a village called Ngulumbi in Thohoyandou Limpopo. He started his Primary at Tshanowa and John Marubini then later proceeded to Jack Lavhengwa Secondary. He started playing drums when he was five years old in 1997, and that's where his passion for music ignited.

In 2003, he started learning the skills of being a DJ. That's when he started playing at gigs around his community. He then got his first computer in 2005 from his uncle, and that's when he installed Fruity Loops and started producing music.

He matriculated in 2011 and then came to Johannesburg in 2012. he went to study music at South West Gauteng College in 2014.and then later released his first song 'Show me what you got' by Jalicot ft Big Ropza.

In 2019 Jalicot dropped a new sound ‘gqom’ with a single titled ‘Gqom Phansi.’ The song was produced by Jalicot at Boss Man Recording Studios. The song was received very well in Soweto. It had over 60 000 downloads mostly by local members of the community and their support was massive. On the 15th of November 2018 Nix Mapha single was released and is a social media sensation. It is available in all digital stores and has been featured on Meadowlands Urban News and Daily Sun. Beke le beke (tot tot) - Jalicot ft Prosper and Musa and it currently Playlisted on the National Top 30. It was released on the 10th of September 2021 which had a remix featuring Musa de vocalist Prosper and Sintu Soul His latest release which is released 07 October 2022 is called Mahlombe ft Prosper, Ocean Keys, Eager and Sintu Soul which is trending on Tik Tok and Spotify
