Jesse Cook is a Broadcast & Digital Journalism student in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Born and raised in Sharon, M.A., Jesse has grown up with an intense love for sports broadcasting, calling play-by-play for most of Sharon High School's athletic events and writing about the games as well for the school paper, "The Talon." At Syracuse, Jesse has furthered his craft by calling games for the Syracuse men's and women's basketball teams, men's and women's lacrosse teams, women's ice hockey, field hockey, men's club ice hockey, and men's club baseball. The senior also works as the main play-by-play broadcaster for Colgate University's women's ice hockey team. He spent the summer after his sophomore year working as the first Director of Broadcasting for Cropdusters Baseball of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League in Olney, M.D. After his junior year, he ventured to Palmer, A.K. to be one of the Broadcasting Directors for the Mat-Su Miners[1] of the Alaska Baseball League. Jesse regularly appears on CitrusTV as an anchor for the longest-running college sports show in the world, "On the Bench[2]," which he also produced for two years. Besides CitrusTV, the Massachusetts-native also participates in WAER 88.3 FM Radio, WJPZ 89.1 FM Radio (otherwise known as Z89), and ESPN+.
