Ivo Monte, born and raised in Italy, started studying Music with his Dad Joseph and Maestro Sam Tornatore, and later graduated at the Conservatorium of Music " Arcangelo Corelli ", Italy.

He started at a young age, at his home, as was the main place for the rehearsal of the local marching band. There was a big wardrobe full of various musical instruments: woodwind, brass and percussion. Every day, during the school he was thinking all the time to the instruments and looking forward to run, once the bell was ringing, quickly, to go and practising all the band instruments. He was trying to understand which was the ideal to play for himself.

After few years of analysis, just his dad and Maestro Sam Tornatore understood which instrument was needed in the band and ideal for his caratheristics and body structure development as Maestro said many times: be careful with the brass as you need a lot of air pressure, so your lungs could explode as in the close town a young child had this problem. So, he was very scared to start. But anyway he started the Trumpet and French horn.

During this period, Ivo played often the Accordion with his dad, starting the love also for the keyboard and later for the piano and harpsichord. During the studying in Conservatorium he was playing and practising from the opening of the Conservatorium until the closure, provoking often antipathy and admiration from the Conservatorium school keeper.

During the middle school, Ivo was studying drama and he was expressing the talent also for art works, making for the school a ceramic tile realising the sagittarius as his astrological sign.

Since he was very young, he was very passionate about astrology, chiromancy, graphology and physiognomy. Since adolescent, he had a strong passion and attraction to write original music styles for small ensembles to symphonic orchestras and aphorisms, trying all the time to find new styles and avoiding at all costs, copying the already existing concepts.

He played for various organisations and various authors since adolescent, touring with many orchestras with diverse musical ensembles, playing for very talented artists as Gilda Butta', Vincenzo Serio, Francesco Maria Vadala', Antonino Manuli, Salvatore Chillemi, Riccardo Casalaina and debuting playing various authors as Danzi, Thuille, Poulenc, Gounod, Haydn, Haendel, Milhaud, Rota, Satie, Ravel, Brahms, Spohr, Ibert, Mozart, Joplin, Ellington and more.

During his studies in Conservatorium, he was part of the choir as a tenor, debuting with the Bach's Magnificat and touring in various cities and towns. Continuing playing in the orchestra, debuting with Haydn's symphony The Passion, Mozart piano's concert K488, K467, K466.

Ivo is Composer, Stage Director, Orchestra and Choir Conductor, Educator, Brass, Woodwind player and Teacher, Multi-instrumentalist, Theatre Director, Conductor, Vocal coach, Writer and Artistic Painter.

In 2006, he was awarded as an AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL DISTINGUISHED TALENT, for Music and Arts, including the art works, introduced to the Australian Government by Brenton Broadstock Vice - Chancellor at University of Melbourne and Composer in residence of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Subquentely, becoming an Australian Citizen for the benefit for the music and art culture development, discovering many talents and giving them the opportunity and the space their talent denied often by other institutions.
