I am Island Styles, a professional film composer and musician. I am the subject of the draft Draft:Island Styles. I am requesting a neutral evaluation of my notability via the Articles for Creation process. I have disclosed this connection to ensure full transparency and compliance with WP:COI.

Current Status

I am currently active in the 2026 film awards season. I served as the composer for the film The Singers, which was officially nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film at the 98th Academy Awards (announced January 22, 2026).

I am also the lead guitarist for the Seattle based rock band Candlebox and have contributed to their recent studio releases and tours.
