I've been contributing anonymously for a long time, but I should finally get around to signing up for an account. My name is Kevin Prest; I was born and brought up near Oldham, England. I studied Physics at the University of Birmingham until 2005 before moving to Beijing and spending 6 months working at Tsinghua University as a computer technician then a year and a half working in a market research company writing reports on the Chinese telecommunications industry. I now work for NHN China on the nciku.com Chinese-English dictionary and language learning tool as a service planner. I got married in September 2006 and currently live with my wife in the Shuangjing area of Beijing, a few kilometres south of Guomao.

Most of my recent contributions are in to the Chinese telecom area, but I've also added quite a bit to articles on anime and 1990s computer games, as well as occasional contributions to more worthy topics.
