Parisa Akbari (July 08, 1966) was an Iranian symbolist painter, is noted for his paintings and drawings on Sama Dance. Akbari's primary subject was the female body and her figurative works, which include abstracted forms and portraits. On 2015 she published her first book “Water in the art of the ancient world” and focused on imaginary goddess figures.

Parisa Akbari is the curator and the organizer of the “Great Iranian Exposition for Japan” in support of the tsunami of Japan in the early days of the tsunami. It happened at the Iranian Artists Forum in the four largest halls (Summer, Spring, Niloufar and the Beethoven Hall), with 66 painters and sculptor artists presented over 100 works. It should be noted that the Iranian group was the first tsunami group of artists in the world and this event was considered as the largest cultural event in the history between the two countries' relations.
