Interview Under Fire Is a PR Group started by Cory Hodges and Antonio Suave in early 2016. Their intentions were to create something for the underground music scene to use for coverage as far as interviews go. They got their idea from the web show "Hot Ones" and added some twists to have some originality to it.
Early life
Born in Dallas, Texas, Cory Hodges (AKA Papi Schwag) grew up loving entertainment of all kinds. He started getting into music in his 10th grade year of high school starting a band called "The Flying Dildos" with bandmate Juan Barrera. Later he got into doing comedy hip-hop under the name Ebola-Cide which he got from his earlier days of back yard wrestling which he wrestled under the name of "Ebola". After his long time friend (Chris Parnell) passed away in 2011, Cory and his brother Dustin Hodges wrote a song in memory of their friend. After that they started the group Hodge Boys and went on to open for groups such as Twiztid, RA The Rugged Man, Wrekonize, and many more. Cory is now in a group called Suave Schwag along with Antonio Suave signed to Funny Farms Records.
Born in Dallas Texas, Antonio Suave (AKA Mr. Suave) grew up in a musical environment on a steady diet of punk rock, metal and hip hop. Antonio ended up in several schools of art. In his mid teen years had a small stint as an amateur skateboarder. As an adult He became infatuated with tattoos, beer and hot sauce, A love that he still has to this day. Through his girlfriend Bethanie, Antonio met her brothers who were artists in a group called The Hodge Boys. Though they were not cool at first, Antonio ended up developing a strong relationship with Cory Hodges and bonding over Dave's Gourmet Scorpion Pepper Sauce. He started creating music with Cory Hodges and signed to underground rap label Funny Farm Records as Suave Schwag. He is a sneaker connoisseur and customizer.
The Start of IUF
Interview Under Fire was created by Cory Hodges and Antonio Suave in 2016 over the love of extreme hot sauces. When they both watched Hot ones, they knew that they wanted to do something similar except without really big names but more local names and underground names. The show consists of eating hot wings and asking questions while the questions and wings get progressively hotter the next 8 rounds. The Hodge Line Bling card is a card that could potentially help or hurt you. If the interviewee decides to play the card, they have a 50/50 percent chance of a good or bad card. Some cards consist of skip a wing, eat an extra wing, make other eat your wing and so forth. after the 8 rounds of wings are through, Promotion time is given to the interviewee. The idea was to get their local entertainment the most press coverage as possible which quickly turned to bigger names as well. Although they interview bigger underground names, they still focus on the locals. IUF started their journey with Claas with LSP and Majik Ninja Entertainment and jumped to names such as ¡Mayday!, A Killer's Confession, Mr. Pookie, Scum, Hed PE, Kissing Candice, Kung Fu Vampire and more. IUF has since added a new member "Tim Torment" to the team and has worked closely to the Fort Worth band FTW. IUF has been getting into more PR work as well and continues to expand.
