Lars Valentin Jacobsson, (born 11 May 1965), best known for his entrepreneurship and passion for animals, nature and environmental issues, is a Swedish entrepreneur, inventor, philanthropist, social entrepreneur and conservationist.

Jacobsson originally established his reputation during the late 1980´s through his entrepreneurship within the oil business, where he was involved in starting up storage, trading and shipping companies, as well as being the official "inventor" of the oil Contango market in the early 1990´s.

In early 2000 he sold his oil related businesses in favour of the vision of a future solar energy revolution, and his deeper engagement into a number of philanthropic endeavours. Since 2005 he has, among others, been involved in starting up two solar energy companies with a “new” solar energy technology and is working with approximately 80 humanitarian, wildlife and environmental projects in 23 countries trough his ownership of Volunteer Travels Ltd.

Together with his wife Ragnhild (Rags) Jacobsson, founded the organisation https://theperfectworldfoundation.org The Perfect World Foundation], a non-profit and independent Swedish based organisation with the purpose to raise awareness, funding’s and to take action together with animal and nature conservation projects around the world. In 2014 the organisation held the largest ever, in Scandinavia, fundraising gala and wildlife & environmental conference in favour of the endangered rhinos and elephants, with participants from all over the world. Lars and his wife is as well working close together with, as ambassadors, with the London based organisation Elephant Family to save the asian elephants.

Ragnhild Jacobsson, (born 15 July 1966) in Tromso, north of the artic circle in Norway, the home of humpback whales, orcas and the northern light, is a entrepreneur, artist, designer, philanthropist and conservationist.

During the late 1980´s and early 1990´s she was known for her career in the music industry, where she was working as a song and music composer as well as a singer. During the late 1990’s and early 2000 she became famous for designing the fist collection of dog accessories. Her career was unfortunately interrupted due to cancer, but after recovering she became the head designer and co-ordinator for a number of famous brands on the Swedish market.

Since early 2000 she has been dedicated, together with here husband Lars Jacobsson, to support animal projects around the world. Through the purchase of Volunteer Travels Ltd. 2008 and founding The Perfect World Foundation 2010, it fast grew to more than 80 humanitarian, wildlife and environmental projects in 23 countries.

In 2014 she, together with her husband Lars and The Perfect World Foundation, arranged the largest wildlife gala and conference in Scandinavia ever: “Save The Rhino 2014”. The decision to hold the gala was taken during a dinner with Mark Shand and Mary Powys in London, December 2013. Ragnhild and Lars decided that Mark Shand would be the gala evening's guest of honour and be awarded the “Conservationist of the year 2014” award, and receive “The Fragile Rhino”.^[1]
