Hello and welcome to my User page. I am new contributor to wikipedia but long time user ;)

My mother would say that I never wanted to leave college, and to a great extent, she was right.

While in college, I became entranced with the notion of Greek life. A society within the university society. Steeped in its traditions and rituals, holding fast to creeds and mottos. After graduating, I worked for a law firm where I was schooled on the art of reading legal speak. I've put that talent to good use by trying to answer a very old and puzzling question of how Title IX affects professional, honorary, service, and social fraternities and sororities. It seems that no one branch of the U.S. government has a answer. And the answers that I do get are based off of recent case law in the aspect of secondary education or athletics. It seems that there is no definitive answer to many questions about Title IX. I hope to change that.

I welcome any and all comments and suggestions to my contributions. I have read Baird's History of American College Fraternities which was published in the 1920's. While this book is out of print, Google has a scanned copy available on google books.

Best Regards to All.
