Robbie Cassidy, an American independent professional wrestler from Tennessee, held over 200 championship title belts including the AWA World Heavyweight Championship, making him the second person born in Kingsport, Tennessee to win a legitimate, recognized world championship.

Robbie began his training in the summer of 2000 at Piledriver University before entering his senior year of high school at Dobyns-Bennett. After only 1 month of training Cassidy wrestled his first match on August 30, 2000 in Kingsport. While finishing his senior year Robbie started traveling several days a week, making bookings in several neighbouring states.
