Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma

About

Dr. Sharma completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from RSU, Raipur in 1989. He pursued MTech and PhD from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. The thesis for his PhD is based on Numerical Simulation of Underground Structures in Coal Mines. His field of specialisations include Numerical Modelling of rock excavations, Rock mechanics instrumentation, Rock blasting, Slope stability analysis and stabilizations, Subsidence prediction & Management and Mine legislations. 4 students have completed PhD and 31 students have completed their MTech under his guidance. He is currently guiding 9 PhD students and 4 MTech students.
