Nathan "Haym-Zee" Haymes was born in Malvern, Victoria (Australia) on April 15th 1991. He moved to Cairns in 1993 when his parents bought a Pharmacy in the area as a quick ticket to living how they wanted to. Nathan was not a particuly bright student in his early years, and lacked focus in the classroom. After many efforts to obtain his focus in the classroom, Nathan's parent decided instead of trying to hold back their son's high energy levels, they would try and get him to dispose of it - outside the classroom. Hense, Nathan took up soccer when he was just 5 years old and, with practice and determination, excelled in the fundermental skills of the game. After 4 years of focus on the soccer feild, Nathan gained a strong affiliation with basketball attributed to his town recently entering a team in the national competition. With this strong support platform, Nathan joined various basketball clubs and made it to city representitive level in only his second year of playing.

There is not much known about Nathan's early learning years, and the most stable and creditable information can only be found in the start of his high school years. Nathan joined Saint Augustines College in year 8 when he was 12 (2004). He grew acustomed to the Marist catholic movement in the school and became well focused in his approach to studys. He joined the school junior rowing team for a short period where he both rowed and coxened four man boats for his school team. In 2005 Nathan also gave up basketball, due to lack of motivation. He felt that he could no longer find the motivation to play at his high level. During this absence of sport, his parents - who had by now saved up a substantial ammount of money - decided to buy a boat, and encouraged Nathan to get involved in watersports such as skiing and wakeboarding.

Nathan has again resumed playing basketball, aswell as taking on rowing and wakeboarding. His accademic focus is still strong and doesnt appear to be weakening in the near future. He is currently studying at Saint Augustine's College in his senior year as a weekly boarder, and coming home to his parents residence on the weekends.
