Biography of Hassan Adeiza Ozigis
Hassan Adeiza Ozigis was born on January 13, 2001, into the royal Ozigizigi family of Ovehira in Okene Local Government Area, Kogi State.
He was born at his maternal grandmother’s home in the Okengwe District of the same local government area.
Demonstrating early signs of intelligence and leadership, Hassan began his educational journey at Joy Nursery and Primary School, Okengwe, in 2003.
He completed his primary education in 2010, earning the First School Leaving Certificate.
During his time there, he held several leadership positions including Class Captain, Health Prefect Boy, and News Caster in the Press Club.
In 2010, Hassan proceeded to Okengwe Comprehensive College for his secondary education, where he graduated in 2016 with the West African Senior School Certificate.
He served as Class Captain and was also the Chief Imam of the Muslim Students’ Society (MSS) in the school. Upon graduation, he was honored with an award as the Second Best Student in Computer Proficiency, earning a computer monitor as a prize.
After secondary school, Hassan relocated to Ajaokuta, where he took up a teaching position at Progressive Schools, African Camp.
He also established a private tutoring centre to help students in the area.
In 2017, he sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and performed excellently, gaining admission into the prestigious University of Jos in 2018 to study Political Science.
He graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree, emerging as one of the top-performing students in his class.
Hassan was well-known among his peers as a student tutor whose academic tutorials significantly contributed to the success of his colleagues.
Throughout his time at the University of Jos, Hassan was deeply involved in student leadership and activism.
He served in several key positions, including:
- President, National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), University of Jos Chapter
- Assistant Secretary General, National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS), University of Jos Chapter
- Senator, representing the Political Science Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences Parliament
- Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker, Students' Union Government Parliament
- Senator, representing the University of Jos at the NAES National Secretariat
Beyond campus, he actively participated in community-based youth organizations.
He was appointed Speaker, Okene LGA Zone, Youth Crisis Awareness and Peace Forum; served as Secretary and later Director of Media and Publicity at the Youth Enlightenment Movement, Okene.
To support himself financially during his undergraduate years, Hassan engaged in various jobs including hotel housekeeping, reception duties, laundry services, security, bicycle rental services, and private tutoring.
His media journey began with an internship at ICE 96.1 FM, the University of Jos campus radio station, from 2023 to 2024.
Upon graduation, he was deployed to Kebbi State for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Initially posted to Army Day Girls Secondary School, Birnin Kebbi, he later redeployed to Nagari 88.7 FM, Birnin Kebbi, where he served as an On-Air Personality, Public Affairs Analyst, and Content Creator from March 2024 to January 2025.
Following the completion of his NYSC, Hassan began his post-service career at Checkers Suites and Apartments as a Front Desk Officer.
Shortly after, he was recommended by a former coursemate to join Row-Harry Integrated Services as a Trade and Investment Research Assistant.
His dedication and performance earned him a promotion to Personal Assistant to the CEO, who also doubled as the Special Adviser on Trade and Investment to the Bayelsa State Governor.
In addition to his professional career, Hassan is still founding Purples Creative Agency, an agency that is working to provide content writing, graphic design, and social media management services.
The was started shortly after his NYSC and is aimed at offering distinctive communication solutions to businesses, brands, public figures, and organizations.
