To consider: Expand to just general Females in video games and include marketing for females? Or is the characterization enough of a subtopic to get it's own article? This is some deep stuff, man, deep.

Note: Seeing as I've seen a few sources about this, here's hoping it can one day become an FA. In the meantime however, I really must get round to checking if these articles already exist. Because, if so, that would be quite annoying as I've already been searching for sources.
