I'm an Irish physicist with interest in Irish placenames, Irish names, atomic physics, especially quantum optics and laser-atom interactions, particularly as applied to laser cooling and BEC, physics education and various bit'n'bobs that take my fancy.
I am also concerned with removing nationalistic bias from articles.
I particular like this picture of near home (and the file name).
